What happened?
We’re getting into the classic “bad beat” in the show-down condition before the river, intrinsic component of the game. In this specific case regarding the unlikely runner runner flush draw closure. When the bloody river defines the Kid Poker elimination, he violently throws his smartphone on the floor.
Some observer think KidPoker’s tilt is due to a bankroll pressure, being already down roll over one million $ in this WSOP 2022.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen videos with “colorful” utterances by Daniel Negreanu, but this time it seems to impress the violence with which he expressed himself.
What’s there behind KidPoker anger?
From our point of view we believe it’s not exactly the bankroll pressure that damages Daniel Negreanu’s mindset, but the level of the competition reached at certain skills level.
He has a professional management of his bankroll. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be explained his ability to remain on the wave’s crest for several decades now.
We believe the reason, which make KidPoker so anger, is due to his consciousness about his skills as compared to the random influence.
Why Skill Poker Index are born.
From the ethnographic study, which gives the Skill Poker Index origin, has clearly emerged how the competitive player’s level has remarkably evolved.
The Daniel Negreanu’s frustration, like a lot of professional poker players’ ones, is powered by the today inability to accept the random influence like the past. In the other hand, how anyone could blame them? After they’ve done all the efforts and sacrifices to improve own skills, like every other professional players (certainly, we’re talking about a less popular and structured approach in live poker), they find themselves at the total mercy of the random component.
